Building a model is an important ingredient in the development of products with branched development. In fact you can say that the model is really a prototype because it is made from the real materials from which the product should be produced. sheet metal,welding and parforations are part of the same process as the actual product. We will review each product parameter and draw conclusions about updates and changes. The development of such a product does not end with one mode howvwerl, but our experience promises to shorten the process.

Product sketches are the first process in product design. It said that this stage is the most important because this is the time, when the product is born. If we enter philosophy, we can also say that sketches are 90% of the birth of the product and the rest (development and production) is secondary. It is interesting to think that sketches still remain the basis in a world ruled by computers. There is still room for intuition and talent in the world! Very encouraging. Sketches are the only factor that connects us, inventors, developers and designers to the finished, printed, injected product.

Various initial design options were presented to FLIR contain long-term thinking about mechanical design. Each design option must contain an idea for product assembly. The picture shows three options of a dissasembled front. Each front contains the future idea of connection and disassembly, as well as the way it will be injected. Foraward thinking about engineering shortens processes in your future product development.

A selected design option is highlighted in the 3D illustration befront of us. In 3D illustrations, we usually check the surface of a product before it is manufactured. However, because the development here is significantly longer than usual, the illustrations were performed in a relatively early stage so that we could give feedback for further development. Mechanical design and casing are our specialization in our product design studio. In addition to designing products for FLIR, we provide consultation and implementation of mechanical design. Small details - great in designing a winning product. Since it has been decided that FLIR logo will serve as an indicator, we in the studio developed the mechanics of that part. We have developed some of the leading beam of LED light into several directions. Thus, the source of light can not be detected and the desired effect is created. The lighting is uniform and not blinding. We could not have achieved such results quickly if we had not had much experience in developing avionics.

A design decision was made to turn the FLIR logo into an ON / OFF indicator light. In the pictures, you can see the the prototype on the right opposite the mechanical design on the left. Part of the light beam transport mechanism is exposed. Proper planning leads to creating a more complete product. The team that develops an avionics product must know the whole process. Must be familiar with optics engineereing and light distribution. Must respond quickly to any problem.

Quality industrial design. A prototype test in which we examine the casing assembly without the internal parts. Second stage of the assembly inspection that came from production. Assembling the product together with the interior components. We review the entire product . Measure whether it is heating or working properly. Check whether, for example, the interface and connections are exactly where they should be.

A preliminary inspection of a product we designed for FLIR shows that everything is normal except in specific cases. There are small deformations that the manufacturer will have to give them attention. In the studio, we mark the manufacturer with the places to update. If necessary, we can help the manufacturer find the solution.
