Wearable radio design

Portable personal radio Practical industrial design, PNR-1000; up to date design for a personal, portable radio for the soldier. The radio is light, advanced at the micro-tactical level, enables continuous contact (including identification friend-foe) within the network and possibility of command and control. Also option of navigation in the area of urban combat and in the field, where maintaining contact with each combatant is critical for the success of the assignment. Our task was to characterize and to format the interface.

Industrial Design of a computer system, Tacter 31D with perfect daylight display for work in the field.powered by Intel Core and backed up by intelligent Lithium batteries that can be exchanged rapidly under hot swop. The many design constraints that were posited before the product designers raised a host of challenges.
